I am an unprofessional writer. That means I don’t get paid to do it. Hopefully it doesn’t mean that my writing is sub par. I have a job that occupies a lot of my time. I work at Ogilvy. I also have a family which I spend far too little time with.
Still, I am a writer. I am using this blog to self-publish. I have not tried to publish any of these stories through the medieval publishing mechanism that still exists. I am not against it. I just figure that, like the changes in the music industry, the fiction market will be changed by digital innovations.
I am hoping that I can acquire enough readers who will want to follow some of my stories to justify a small sponsorship with a business interested in reaching the people who read my writing.
